Fakes always break

This is an installation I did for No Waves 3 in Sunshine Coast. I handmade the leather bowtie and colaged the mask and fake raybans, used 35mm film for hair and wrote on the film. Then I bent the music stand making it look like time is froze, as if the book was sliding off in the moment with the pages turning and falling to the floor. I got two large speakers and put a violin through the top of one and smashed the other on the ground and put a shoe in it. It basicly says that no matter what personality you take on your always going to break and show your true colours. There was a personal matter in my life at the time I made it.

Vintage Mens fixed gear

This is my second bike I made which is a vintage mens bike which had gears and all the tabs on the frame, which was basicly a rusted piece with flat tyres, I completely stripped down and restored myself. Its a fixed gear bike which means its one gear with continuous pedalling. Ive tried to go another way to a more layed back style of fixie because I dont really like the look of the gay triathlon bikes with 10 foot high seatpoles and deep V's I personally think are hidious and so are high flange velocity hubs. Its more of a skatepark bms style with the slammed seat, low flange hubs and tapered handlebars. I painted it all myself in the Chicago Bulls colours as each bike I paint and design with a common interest in mind. Im getting the Bulls head embroidered on the seat. The bike turned out really well and gets alot of compliments

Velamos 1920's beach bike

Ive began building bikes and this was my first bike I completely stripped and painted all myself and rebuilt. It was originally a rusty old abandoned bike so I decided to restore it. I sandblasted it all and then painted the bike peach and cream with sky blue. The bike is completely original apart from the seat and handlegrips. Altogether approximately 60hours work went into this bike, It turns alot of heads and gets heaps of complements.

Diskull

Originally made for the Boyz Noize tour with a 3 day deadline, this is the most current piece i've made. I carved a cubic meter piece of styrofoam into the shape of a skull going off a few images. I then resined around 1000 square mirrors on it. It was very strenuous and I would not recommend doing it EVER, although the end result was very effective.

Flow

This is the first of my installations. I found a boat propellor and powdercoated it white. Then I used clear stone resin and blue ironlac to make 3 water spouts each longer than the next intertwining and water also coming through the centre of the propellor. This is 1 of 3 of the flow part of my 5 piece installation series named ''ELEMENTS''

This is the 3rd Mixed Media piece I have made. I took the photo with a Nikon D40 SLR camera on manual settings. I then Printed and transferred the image to canvas and attatched a 200mm Tamron lens a strap and a bowtie. This is 1 of 5  in my Black and white series named 'GIRLS & FILM.

Mercy.

This was my first mixed media piece. I took the photo with a Nilon D40 on manual settings, printed the photo out and transferred it onto canvas myself. I then used the front of an antique mercedes drinks flask and I replaced the hood ornament with a bowtie.
